Summer/Fall 2009---

Wow I can’t believe that so many people have visited our blog the last couple of months. All I can say to you is….I am sorry. I spend all day at work on the Internet and the phone so when I get off I hate being on the computer any more that I have to be.
With all that has happened over the summer I want to update our blog . I do have a lot of catching up to do….so here it goes.
May 2009
At the beginning of May we got another dog. She is a little Shi-Poo (Shih-tzu/poodle). She is the funniest little dog. She has made our other dog, Stewie so much more playful, I don’t think that we can ever just have one dog. I, mike may not agree, think that dogs are so much more fun in pairs.

We also celebrated our 3 year anniversary on the 12th. I can not believe that we have been married for that long. I love mike soooo much and can not imagine my life with out him. A couple of days before Mothers day we found out the best news.

Yes, It is official. Mike and I are expecting our first baby January 10, 2010. That has been our biggest news. So of coarse we waited until Mother’s Day to share the news with our families. We are so excited!!!! Currently I am 31 weeks! But it really only seems that I am just getting fatter and buying baby clothes, not that we will be bring home a baby in January. It really has not hit me yet, even with feeling the kicking.
June 2009
Our highlight of June was that we were able to meet up with Brett and Katie Barrera in San Diego for awesome vacation. We forgot our camera and don’t have any pictures. Sad, But we had sooo much fun.
July 2009
The highlight for mike was that he turned 26 on the 5th. Also in July I was in charge of my ward’s girls camp. We went for a week to the nice cool mountains. I have learned a lot about the importance of the youth programs in our Church, and learned to appreciate these programs so much more then when I was YW age. The Sunday prior to girls camp I was called to be the 2nd Counselor in the YW presidency in our ward. This made me sooo happy. I love the girls in my ward and I really did not just want to work with them only during camp time. The week after Girls Camp Mike and I, along with stewie and mia, drove back to Utah to visit our families. We have missed them so much since moving to California.
August 2009
At the beginning of August we were so excited to help my sister Ashley and her husband Brett moved to PASADENA!!! They are now only an hour and a half away from us!!! If you want to see a funny Blog, Check out Lucy's Blog on the Right hand side. This is my sister's dog and she has her own blog.
At the end of August we found out that we are having a GIRL! At first I thought that mike might be sad that it was not a Boy, but I he is so excited to a have a girl. Every Saturday night he puts his head on my belly and tells her the score of the Utah Football Game that day. I think he is determined to make her be a Baby Ute. I keep telling him that she spends way more time with me, so she is bound to be a Cougar. We will see!!!
September/October 2009
The last two months have been kind of a blur for me. I started working more hours and thus have had not a ton of time at home. We moved from our old apartment on Douglas Street to another bigger apartment a couple of blocks north.
In the beginning of October I was able to visit Utah for a baby shower that my family had for me. I loved it, it was so much fun seeing all of my family and close friends that I miss so much being out here in California.
Howard and Carol were able to come out to California in October as well to see us. We went out to Cambria for the weekend.

Congratulations!!! How exciting! Girls are definitely the best and even in-utero they have their dads wrapped around their little fingers. We have a BYU vs. Utah thing going on too. My guess is that she will be just like her Mom.. GO COUGARS : )
