Little Stewie

This past week, Mike and I had to make the most difficult decision we have ever had to make as a married couple. I had to put our Little Stewie down on Wednesday morning. Over the past couple of months he has grown more aggressive, even towards Maggie. We could not have an aggressive animal in our home, especially because Maggie has become so curious and moblie.

We saved Stewie two years ago from the shelter without knowing his past. We later learned, by the injuries that he had, that was abused in his first home. We tried to rehome him, but rehoming a dog that his bitten a human before is very hard. We did not want to take him back to the shelter where he would be left for a couple of weeks, by himself, and then be put down.

We loved our Little Stewie and will miss him so much. I am so glad that we were able to give hime a loving home for his last couple of years.
