OK we have sucked at this blogging thing so far...but we promise to be better!!! Well we have officially moved to Bakersfield, California. This was the first week that we have been here together. We have met some fun people in this area, found an amazing carne-asada taco place, and have been to the beach. On Wednesday we went to a Christian Rock Concert, this was put on by an organization here call Jesus Shack. It was sooooo fun.

Also this weekend we went to Cambria, California to enjoy the sun. We went kayaking and hung out on the beach. It was a cool little beach town that stays about 70 degrees the whole year. Better than the 105 degree weather here in Bakersfield. I had a lot of fun looking at the sea otters and seals while kayaking. Mike dived into the ocean and it was freezing, I only got in up to my waist. Here are some pics from the beach!!!

Glad to see you're having fun and together again! I actually was born in Bakersfield!!! Most of my family still considers it "home."
So you guys HAVE to go to Dewar's get a sunday or milkshake and for sure buy a box of chews to take home and enjoy! They are the best (especially the carmel and pepermint)!
Jacque, I miss you a lot! I wish you still worked with us. Its been.... interesting lately, as I'm sure you can imagine. How's life in CA? It sounds like you're having an excellent time, and quite frankly, I'm jealous!!!!!
