Ok I don't know how many of you watch HGTV....it is one of our favorites.
Anyways we are in the process of buying a home, so mike and I thought that it would be fun to fill out an application to be on HGTV's House Hunters. We never thought that we hear from them. So we filled out the application yesterday, and this morning I got a call from House Hunters asking me some questions about our moving situation. I told them that we just moved from Salt Lake City to Bakersfield and we are in the process of closing on a home. Then they asked I we were moving closer to LA, I said we are not. She then told me that they would love to put us on House Hunters but the filming crew can only travel and hour outside of the studio, and we in Bakersfield are about an hour and a half......LAME!!!!! Well our claim to fame is that we were almost on House Hunters but we are not moving within an hour of LA......PRETTY COOL STILL!!!!

That would have been sooo awesome! You know Brett and I too well! To be honest we wish you guys were moving closer to good ol' SLC; but we are so happy for you guys! Good luck!

holy crap!! You were almost on house hunters?!?! Thats awesome, i love that show! I'm sorry it didn't work out, but to even be contacted is pretty cool too.
