Ok...I know She is now a week old but I figure better late then never.
On Sunday January 17, 2010 I woke up with contraction different then what I was feeling the previous week. These ones actually hurt. I felt like I could go still go to Church. But all through out sacrament meeting my contractions slowly began to get stronger and more frequent. We ended up leaving after sacrament meeting. We headed for the hospital around 10:30am. We got to the hospital, they checked me and I was STILL not dilated. So they sent me home at noon.
I stayed at home until 7pm, then we headed back to the hospital because again my contractions were getting stronger and closer together. They check me again as soon is got there....I was ONLY Dilated to a 1!!!! I was sooo mad, I did not want to get sent home again. Mike and I asked the Nurse to try to keep us...after all i was a week overdue. She said she would try, but told us to be prepared to be sent home again. At 7:40 the doctor came in and checked to see if I make any progression, I went from a 1 to a 5 in 40 minutes...so they kept me!!! I was soooo happy.
Then at 3:56 am the next morning Maggie was born.
Below are some pictures of our first week.
Maggie Carol VanOrman 7 lb 14 oz, 19 1/4 inches long.
Proud Daddy!!!
Very Tired Mommy. (Leaving the Hospital)
Clean Baby Maggie.
Our dogs have done great with dealing with a new baby. Mia loves to sit at the foot of Maggie's Bassinet. When ever Maggie cries she is always at the foot of the person who is holding Maggie. Stewie also loves sleeping close to the Bassinet, when Maggie makes any noise he always is up making sure she is taken care of.

Your baby is so cute and I love your nursery. How are you feeling? Are you adjusting well? Getting any sleep?

Congrats again! Your mom showed me all the pictures she has on her camera of her time there. SO CUTE!!! We can't wait to meet Maggie in person.
Congratulations!!!! She is beautiful! I love the name Maggie. I hope that everything is going well and that recovery is going smoothly. I hope you're loving life as a family of three!!
Congrats guys!! I can't tell who she looks like, but she's a doll face. I loved the picture of mike giving her her first bath. I was so nervous that I was going to break Myles, luckily Katie knew what to do.
Thanks Cam...We are feeling great, my mom came out to stay with me so it really helped out the adjustment. As far as sleep goes...i feel like we are getting better each night. Last night she slept from 9 to 1, woke up to eat and then went back to bed around 2 ish and slept until 6:30. I hope she keeps this habit.
Isn't it mysterious how mom's just "know" things...! Darn doctors need to listen to us more often!
